OMG! Hot Slaw
2 pounds Green Cabbage, shredded1 Carrot, shredded
12 ounces OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip
1 Cup Sour Cream
Salt and Pepper
Directions:
We used a package of pre-shredded coleslaw mix that had green and red cabbage and carrots already mixed up, but you are welcome to cut each separately. Red cabbage can be used if you prefer.
In a saute pan on medium-high heat add the cabbage, carrots and 1/2 cup water and cook until tender. Add OMG! Dip and Sour Cream and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated. Hot Slaw shouldn't be soupy, but shouldn't be dry either. Serve as a side dish.
OMG! Shrimp Avocado Dip
12 ounces OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip12 ounces Shrimp (41-50 P&D, tail off, cooked)
1 avocado, diced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
Directions:
If you didn't purchase cooked shrimp, do this first and then set aside so they are cool. Once cooled, rough chop the shrimp. If you prefer smaller pieces, cut into your preferred size.
In a saute pan, combine chopped shrimp, OMG! Dip, and avocado. Stir and cook on medium-high heat until bubbly. Transfer into a serving dish and garnish with green onions. We used Snyder's of Hanover Pretzel Spoonz. They make awesome dipping spoons.
OMG! Squash Casserole
1 pound Yellow Squash, cut in half and sliced1 small Vidalia Onion, sliced thin
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
6 ounces (1/2 tub) OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip
1/2 - 10.5 oz can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 egg
1/2 sleeve Ritz Crackers, crumbs
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F
In a saute pan on medium-high heat place olive oil and onions. Cook onions until they start to caramelize and add the sliced yellow squash. Stir until combined and cook for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to cook vegetables evenly.
Place squash and onions in a mixing bowl. Stir in 1/2 tub of OMG! Dip, 1/2 can of Cream of Chicken Soup and 1 egg. Season with salt and pepper to your taste. After the ingredients are mixed, pour into a oven safe casserole dish. Top with Ritz Cracker crumbs and bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings. If you need to make for a larger crowd, the recipe is easy to scale up. Hope you enjoy!
OMG! Spinach Artichoke Dip
12 ounces OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip1- 14 ounce can Artichoke Hearts, drained and chopped
6 ounces Spinach, frozen or canned, drained and chopped
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F
In a bowl, combine OMG! Dip, chopped artichokes, chopped spinach, and parmesan cheese. Mix well. Pour into an oven safe casserole dish. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top and bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly. This is good hot or cold. Serve with sliced baguettes, toast points, or your favorite chips. If you have any leftovers, it's also great on top of a grilled chicken breast.
OMG! Stuffed Mushrooms
1 pkg large whole, white mushrooms (approx 10)2 Tbsp butter, divided (see below)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup OMG! Onion Dip
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste, optional
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and chop into small pieces. Place the caps on a baking sheet and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt 1 Tbsp butter, add the chopped stems and saute until soft (4-5 min). Add the breadcrumbs, OMG! Onion Dip, salt and pepper. (sprinkle with cayenne pepper if desired). Mix together until heated through.
Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps. Melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter and brush the tops of the stuffed mushrooms.
Bake for approximately 10-12 min, until browned on the top.
Makes approximately 10 servings.
OMG! Jambalaya Dip
1 tub OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip8 oz. Smoked Sausage, small diced
1/2 medium Green Pepper, small diced
1 - 8 oz. Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix (You'll only need 1 Cup of prepared rice)
Directions:
Prepare Jambalaya mix as directed. While the rice is cooking, dice the green pepper and sausage. Saute the pepper and sausage on high heat until pepper is cooked. Set aside until the rice is ready. In the saute pan, add 1 cup of prepared rice and the tub of OMG! Dip. Stir all ingredients together and cook on medium heat for five minutes just to blend the flavors together. Serve with your favorite chips or crackers. If you like your dip a little spicy, add some hot sauce or small diced jalapenos.
OMG! Spinach Dip
1 (10 oz) box frozen, chopped spinach1 pkg Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
1 (12 oz) container OMG!
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
4 green onions, sliced
Mix together all ingredients. Chill. Serve with crackers.
OMG! Green Chile Cheese Spread
1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened1 (12 oz) container OMG!
4 Tbl. butter, softened
2 (4 oz) cans chopped green chiles
2 tsp ground red pepper
2 Tbl. parsley
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
2 Tbl. diced jalapenos (optional)
Beat cream cheese, OMG! and butter with a mixer until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover. Chill 4-24 hrs before serving.
Serve with crackers.
OMG! Crostinis
1 tub OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip1/3 Cup Cooked Bacon Crumbles
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
1 Baguette, sliced
Chopped Scallions, if desired
Directions:
Mix the first three ingredients together. Spread a little on each slice of baguette. Sprinkle with scallions. Place on a cookie sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for 7-9 minutes
OMG! Potato Skins
Baked Potatoes, cut in half lengthwiseBacon, cooked and crumbled

Monterrey Jack Cheese
Green Onions, sliced

Directions:
Scoop out most of the pulp of the potatoes and use for another recipe. Fill hollowed out potato halves with bacon and cheeses. Bake in a 375* oven for 10-15 min, or until cheese is melted. Top with a generous scoop of OMG! Onion Made Goodness and sliced green onions. Enjoy!
OMG! Steak Appetizer

Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits
Directions:
Top each Triscuit with some OMG! and then top with a slice of steak. Enjoy!
OMG! Macaroni and Cheese
2 Tbsp butter2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1-1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup OMG! Onion Dip
1/2 tsp salt, dash of pepper
1-1/2 cup elbow macaroni
Bread crumbs for topping, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook macaroni according to directions on the box. Drain.
While the noodles are cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan. Slowly whisk in the flour, stirring continuously. Add salt and pepper. Once combined, slowly add milk and heat through until thickened. After the sauce has thickened, add the OMG! and cheddar cheese and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Mix the cooked, drained macaroni and the cheese sauce together and pour into a 8x8 casserole dish. Bake for 30 min. Remove and sprinkle with bread crumbs, if desired, and bake for 5 minutes longer or until brown on top.
Makes approximately 6 servings.
OMG! Green Bean Casserole
2 cans green beans1 (12 oz) container OMG!
1/4 cup milk
1 Tbl soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups Fried Onion Rings, divided
Drain green beans. Mix together with OMG!, milk, soy sauce, salt, pepper and 3/4 cup fried onion rings. Spoon into 2 qt casserole dish.
Bake at 350* for 25 minutes. Top with remaining fried onion rings and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
OMG! Hashbrown Casserole
30 oz bag frozen, shredded hashbrowns2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 (12 oz) container OMG!
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
1 sleeve Ritz crackers
1 stick butter, melted
Mix together first 6 ingredients in bowl. Spoon into a 9x13 or a 2 qt casserole dish. Top with crumbled Ritz crackers and melted butter.
Bake at 350* for 30-40 min, or until hot and bubbly around the edges.
OMG! Cucumber Tomato Salad
1/2 Cup OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip1 Cucumber, sliced
3 Medium sized Tomatoes, large slices
Salt and Pepper
Fresh Basil, chopped (optional)
Directions:
Mix together sliced cucumber, tomatoes, OMG!, and seasoning.
Serve in a bowl.
OMG! Potato Salad
10 cups potatoes, cubed, boiled and cooled1 container OMG! Onion Made Goodness
1-1/2 Cups Mayonnaise
1-2 Tbl. Fresh, chopped dill
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 Cup Green Onion, sliced
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and chill. Enjoy!
Creamy Chicken Enchiladas
2 cups cooked chicken1 container OMG! Onion Dip
8 oz sour cream
1 small can diced green chilies (4 oz)
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese (or other Mexican cheese)
4-6 flour tortilla shells 12 inch
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a saucepan, heat the OMG! Onion Dip and the sour cream until heated through. Add the green chilies and cooked chicken. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir together over low heat until combined and smooth. Remove from heat.
Spoon mixture into the tortilla shells and wrap individually. Place each wrap in a baking dish. Top the stuffed tortillas with cheese.
Bake for approximately 10-15 min or until cheese is bubbly.
Makes 4-6 servings.
OMG! Meatloaf
1 lb. Ground Beef1 egg
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup OMG! - Onion Made Goodness Caramelized Onion Dip
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to season
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F
Combine ground beef, egg, bbq sauce, and breadcrumbs until combined. On a cookie sheet, form into a loaf. Spread OMG! Dip evenly over the meatloaf until covered. Bake for 45 - 55 minutes or until internal temperature of 165F is reached. If you want, serve with a little extra OMG! Dip on the side
OMG! Bacon Bites
1 container OMG! Onion Made GoodnessThick sliced regular white bread
Bacon, raw, cut into thirds
Directions:
Remove crusts from bread and cut bread into 3 equal, lengthwise slices. Spread some OMG! on top of the bread. Take the raw bacon pieces and wrap around each slice of OMG! covered bread. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 350* for approximately 8-12 min, or until bacon is cooked.
Enjoy!
OMG! Pizza
1 Ready Made Pizza Crust1 Container OMG! Onion Made Goodness
1 lb. Bacon, cooked and crumbled
8 oz. Monterrey Jack Cheese
Fresh Parsley, chopped
Sliced, cooked steak (optional)
Directions:
Top crust with OMG! Then top with bacon crumbles, cheese, steak (if desired) and parsley. Bake in a 400* oven for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Enjoy!!
OMG! Grits or Mashed Potatoes
Directions:Prepare grits or mashed potatoes as desired. Stir in OMG! Onion Made Goodness. Enjoy!
OMG Picnic Bake
Submitted by Amanda Hasty1 package shredded cheese (2 cup size) *Tip: Colby Jack blend the best!*
1 package Gold Russet Potatoes or Red Skins (These are the softer ones)
Approximately 8-10 crumbled cooked bacon slices (Time Saver- can buy pre cooked bits)
1 Container OMG Onion Dip
Seasoning as needed (For Potatoes)
1 Cup Melted Butter
Sour Cream and Green Onions (Chopped) *Both Optional*
Directions:
1) Pre-Heat Oven to 350 Degrees
2) Boil Potatoes til soft (Conducting Fork Test is best), Drain & Season if Desired (I use Emeril's Essence)
3) Spread into a 13x9 baking dish (or any size needed, varies)
4) Top with melted butter (optional for maximum flavor), OMG Onion Dip, Bacon Bits, and Cheese
5) Bake 30 Minutes, or Until Bubbly
6) May top with Sour Cream and/or Green Onions for Ultimate Taste & Enjoy!
